Hippo Birdies!

Today is a very popular day to give birth. I know quite a few people that share this as their special day, my dad being one of them.

Tonight we'll be heading out for Lone Star Steakhouse to eat up some delicious beef. For dessert Dad decided to forgo the typical birthday cake in favor of some mighty delicious caramel brownies that Kate and I have made.

Also celebrating this day is Mark and Jay'me's beautiful little girl Maddie. I simply cannot believe she's 6 years old today. I remember visiting the day she was born. It seems like only yesterday.
